"Shadow-Shoe" felines
There is a place in the world for homeless felines (We love dogs too). Our mission is to create awareness of their plight and especially for those who share the color of all black all white or black and white, known in this site as Saddle-Shoe Cats.
Each day millions of homeless cats roam the back alleys, streets and neighborhoods of America. Homelessness is not their desire. A substantial amount of these felines have fur color that is all black, all white or black and white combinations. Much of this is due to the old and unfounded biases against "black cats" causing bad luck. Nothing can be further from the truth. We have chosen the name "Shadow Shoes" because in growing up during my teens, shadow shoes were some of my favorite to wear and it convienently fits the description of these types of cats.
There is a special need to find homes for the "shadow shoe" felines of America, perhaps even more than any other color combination cat. If you support and agree with our quest, please write and let us know. If you'd like to help or offer advice, we'd like to speak with you. PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE NOT A SHELTER AND DO NOT ACCEPT ANIMALS FOR CARE. If you find a homeless cat of any color, please be kind to it and try and find a respectable shelter in your area professionally dealing with homeless and feral cats. If you need help in finding a shelter, we may be able to recommend one for you in your area. If yor would like to adopt a Shadow Shoe feline, we may be able to help.
